College exercise books can often be the easiest way to get students started in the sport, but there’s no set way to define the book.
But the new College Exercise Book for the 2016-2017 academic year is the first to help students decide how to define a book.
Here are the guidelines:• The book should be a “workbook” for the exercise book.
This means that the text is a list of exercises and the exercises need to be completed in a specific order and in a specified order.• A workbook should include exercises that students have completed and written about.• The workbook must contain exercises that are designed for use by a specific group of students.• Students should have the ability to make corrections as necessary.• An exercise book should have a “best practice” list of questions and exercises.• When the workbook is in print, students should be able to see it and read it from cover to cover.• This definition should be updated every three years.
